Join Oreogn Physicians for Social Responsibility in celebrating the next generation of peace and environmental activists at the 2016 Greenfield Peace Writing Scholarship Awards Ceremony. This year’s scholarship asked high school juniors and seniors to respond to the following prompt:

“How would a successful movement to confront climate change help create a more just and peaceful world?”

The writing contest is an opportunity for young people to share their ideas via by essay, poem or narrative regarding the most important issues of our time. The event will feature Keynote Speaker journalist Dahr Jamail and the high school student winners of the 2016 Greenfield Peace Writing Scholarship. Light hors d'oeuvres and tabling by Oregon PSR and cosponsoring organizations.  The event is free and open to the public
