We often answer these questions best together. That's why we hope you’ll be able to join us for Climate Solutions' 9th Annual Breakfast: Monday, May 15 at 7:00am, at the Westin Seattle. Check-in and networking from 7:00am-7:30am, Program 7:30am-9:00am.

This annual event is one that always proves a great way to connect, helps build support for the critical work of Climate Solutions, as well as inspire hope within our community and beyond.

Our keynote speaker this year will be Majora Carter, a national leader at the nexus of climate and equity, with expertise in developing sustainable systems and urban revitalization. A Peabody Award winning broadcaster, and MacArthur Genius grant recipient, her TED talk was one of the original ones that helped launch the site. She is responsible for the creation and successful implementation of green-infrastructure projects, policies, and job training and placement systems. And anyone who was lucky to hear her speak at our dinner in December knows she has a unique and inspiring way to instill hope especially in the midst of challenging times.

Climate Solutions is really sharpening our focus on how to accelerate the Northwest's transition to 100% clean energy including energy efficiency and demand reduction, and to rapidly accelerating the electrification of our transportation system. Aligned with California, the Northwest can be a global leader.
