As Oregon Legislative Director, Olivia leads the development and execution of Climate Solutions’ legislative strategy to advance climate and clean energy policy in Oregon. She works closely with Climate Solutions team members, coalition partners, and additional stakeholders. Olivia is based in Portland and frequently travels to Salem to meet with legislators and staff during the legislative session.

Prior to joining Climate Solutions, Olivia spent five years as legislative staff in Washington, D.C. for Congressman Peter DeFazio and Congresswoman Val Hoyle. She managed a portfolio including energy, environment, natural resources, and Tribal policy. Olivia successfully advanced legislation to improve grid resilience following natural disasters, to allow more Tribal management of hunting and fishing, and to continue successful water clean-up programs in the Columbia River Basin. She also worked as a Regional Field Director for the Nevada State Democratic Party in the 2020 presidential election.

Olivia grew up in Monmouth, Oregon and earned a B.A. in Politics & Government from University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. She enjoys playing tennis, watching Survivor, and trying out new recipes.
