We hope you can join us to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of Climate Solutions at our Annual Reception on Thursday, April 25 (5:30pm-8pm).  This event is a great way to reconnect with our community, share our accomplishments, and explore with Dr. Nalini Nadkarni how humans can better work with Nature to help stabilize the global climate.

Dr. Nalini Nadkarni.  Nalini has been called “The Queen of the Forest Canopy.”   Her work has revealed that canopy organisms are critical players in such important environmental issues such as maintaining biodiversity, stabilizing global climate, and enhancing sustainability of forests. She pursues research in the cloud forests of Costa Rica and the temperate rainforests of Washington State. Nalini has published over 90 scientific papers and three scholarly books. Her work has been featured in magazines such as Natural History, Glamour, Discover, Ranger Rick, and Playboy, and she has appeared in television documentaries, including Bill Nye the Science Guy, Good Morning America, and National Geographic.
