Climate Solutions' 4th Annual Dinner - Northwest at a Crossroads
Location
Hilton Portland
Thanks to all those who attended our 4th Annual Dinner in Portland. A not-to-miss event that brought together leaders from all sectors of the clean energy economy, environmental advocates and elected officials.

Our keynote speaker this year will be David Bragdon.  We are thrilled to have him join us.  David Bragdon was Metro Council President in the Portland region 2003-2010, where he led land use and transportation planning, solid waste management, natural areas preservation and ran facilities such as the Oregon Zoo and Oregon Convention Center. In September 2010 he was hired by New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg as Director of the Mayor’s Office of Long-Term Planning and Sustainability, which produces PlaNYC, the City’s strategies for infrastructure, the environment, and climate change. In October 2012, David took on a new project for Mayor Bloomberg, leading the City's new partnership with the Department of the Interior to revitalize Jamaica Bay.

Prior to being elected to the Metro Council, David worked in the international trade industry in Oregon, including positions with Nike, the Schnitzer Group, Evergreen Airlines, and the Port of Portland.  He was born in New York City and has a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and a master’s degree from Reed College.
