Alison Wiley writes Electrifying Transit, an e-newsletter that supports public transit's moving from diesel to electric buses. From 2008 to 2017 Alison worked for the Public Transit Division of the Oregon Department of Transportation. There she led the Governor's Commuter Challenge to a successful carbon-reducing conclusion, and later developed ODOT’s web-page on Transit Fleet Electrification.  In prior years she worked for Oregon League of Conservation Voters and Opal Creek Ancient Forest Center.

Alison is currently involved with FORTH and EcoFaith Recovery (which blends faith with activism), and leads a folk band called Porch Revival. Find her running the trails of Mt. Tabor and practicing hospitality with her husband Thor Hinckley; reach her at alison.wiley541@gmail.com
