About the Climate Narrative Shift Project

Climate Narrative Shift is a strategic project to understand and connect the dots between clean energy benefits and the issues impacting working class people’s lives, tested within the geographic scope of Washington State.

Why

When people feel clean energy actually benefits them, they’ll support and defend the policies (i.e. the tools) and the solutions in their lives - and want to help implementation move faster in their neighborhoods, commutes and homes.

In Washington, we have won big on policy over the last several years; now our challenge is both defense and implementation. Implementation isn’t just about building projects, and defense isn't just a moment in time with a vote. It's also about people on the ground believing that clean energy is for them.
