Consent to Receive SMS Messages

By providing your mobile phone number to Climate Solutions, you consent to receive SMS (text) messages from us. These messages may include updates about our programs, events, donation opportunities, and other relevant information. Message frequency may vary.

Data Collection and Use

When you opt in to our SMS program, we will send you a message to confirm your signup. We may collect your mobile phone number and any other information you provide via text. This information is used solely to manage our SMS communications and will not be shared, sold, or rented to third parties. 

By opting into messages, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from Climate Solutions. Automated messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system to the mobile telephone number you provided when signing up or any other number that you designate.

Opting Out and Support

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying 'STOP' to any message you receive. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS communications from us unless you re-subscribe.

For support regarding our services, email us at weare@climatesolutions.org or, if supported, text "HELP" to 206-454-3175 at any time and we will respond with instructions on how to unsubscribe. If we include a link in messages we send you from Climate Solutions, you may also access instructions on how to unsubscribe and our company information by following that link.

Transfer of Number

You agree that before changing your mobile number or transferring your mobile number to another individual, you will either reply "STOP" from the original number or notify us of your old number at weare@climatesolutions.org. The duty to inform us based on the above events is a condition of using this service to receive messages.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Climate Solutions is not responsible for any charges incurred from receiving our SMS messages.

We reserve the right to change or terminate our messaging program at any time. We also reserve the right to update these Messaging Terms at any time. Such changes will be effective immediately upon posting.

Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information. However, SMS messages are not encrypted and may be vulnerable to interception or misuse. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information via text.
