- Public Comment Opportunity: NW Natural’s Long-Term Plan
by Greer Ryan on May 31, 2023
NW Natural doesn't have a realistic plan to meet Oregon's climate goals. Tell the Commission to send them back to the drawing board What is happening and why it matters! Oregon has climate goals requiring gas utilities to slash pollution by 90% by 2050. NW Natural, the state’s largest gas utility, has put forward a 20-year Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) that risks leaving customers on the hook for huge, irresponsible investments that are not in line with our state’s climate goals.
- Oregon GOP Walkout Threatens Climate Progress AGAIN
by Meredith Connolly on May 26, 2023
Outraged. Furious. Frustrated. These are some of the emotions being expressed by all of us Climate Solutions staff as well as the broader climate community across the state as most Senate Republicans continue their walkout for a third week. by Deepa Sivarajan on May 16, 2023

- Hey Oregon, Speak up for Building Resilience! Email your Legislator
by Meredith Connolly on May 12, 2023
We think you’ll agree: Every single Oregonian deserves to be protected from the climate crisis. This session, lawmakers have the power to move us toward that reality. By passing the Resilient, Efficient Buildings package, we can reduce climate pollution from our homes and buildings, protect families from extreme temperatures and wildfire smoke, and lower skyrocketing utility bills.
