We are honored to welcome Wawa Gatheru, Founder and Executive Director of Black Girl Environmentalist, as our keynote speaker. Earlier this week, our staff storyteller Ayana Harscoet had the opportunity to sit down with Wawa for a conversation. Here’s a short excerpt from their discussion:
