We are super excited to be hosting Part 1 of Hope, Health, and Climate  on Thursday, December 8 from 4pm - 5pm PT as part of our online series in December. Part 2 of the series will follow on Friday, December 9 at 12pm PT featuring Rebecca Solnit. Click here for more details.

Health and climate change are tightly woven together—both the impacts from pollution on our lives and communities and the benefits we all experience when we accelerate equitable clean energy solutions.

We’ll discuss those interwoven issues, as well as:

  • how we still have a window of time to stop making things worse and instead accelerate positive change,
  • why we should have hope, and
  • how to stay hopeful.

For close to 25 years, Climate Solutions has been working to accelerate the solutions to the climate crisis, and with your help and support, we can, we must, and we will transition our region to a clean and just future. We are in a highly energized and historic time for local, regional, and national action on climate.

Wildfires, drought and heat waves are in the headlines around the world, not just here in the Northwest, threatening our health and our climate.

At the same time, we can’t ignore the reasons for hope all around us. The strength and resilience of our movement for climate progress is accelerating the transition to clean energy in the Northwest.

The clean energy transition feels more real than ever—solutions like 100% clean electricity for our grid, cleaner fuels and electrification to power our transportation, and clean and energy-smart buildings where we work and live.
