Ivy Jaguzny grew up on Vashon Island, Washington. In 2017, she joined the Legislative Youth Advisory Council for Washington State to fight for youth civic engagement and representation of environmental issues in youth legislation. She is a frequent visitor to Olympia, where she testifies on legislation for pollution management, environmental education, and clean energy. In Fall 2017, she met Jamie Margolin, who became the co-founder and executive director of Zero Hour. Ivy joined the press team of Zero Hour later that year in order to uplift the voices of the Zero Hour directors and marginalized youth. In 2018, Ivy volunteered for the WA I-1631 campaign, and refuses to give up in the fight for a just transition.
