Your lawmaker needs to hear from you – it’s time polluters were held accountable

We have huge news: For the first time in Oregon history, the Climate Resilience Superfund bill has made it out of committee and is on to its next step through the legislature. This is all thanks to Oregonians like you who raise their voices to make a difference.

Now we need you to raise your voice again – and your lawmaker needs to hear from you.

For too long, Oregon taxpayers and local governments have footed the bill for the harm caused by megapolluters to our communities. The largest multinational fossil fuel corporations have fueled extreme heat, wildfires, and floods without accountability.

Lawmakers have a chance to shift the burden of this cost from us, their constituents, to these megacorporations, but they won’t take action unless we demand it.

Use this tool to write to your lawmaker today to urge them to pass SB 1541 and make polluters pay for the damage they’ve caused to communities across Oregon.
