We won't be pushed backward: No on I-2117
If passed by Washington voters this fall, Initiative 2117 would repeal the Climate Commitment Act, and erase funding for myriad clean energy projects, environmental justice initiatives, and good jobs. Further, the state would be blocked from any action on capping pollution and making polluters pay for their carbon pollution moving forward.
Climate change

If Oregon has a climate and clean energy majority, it's time to make it work.

For those peering into the void of climate leadership reflected in national election results: DO NOT DESPAIR! Here's a big bright spot right in our backyards.

Local organizing produced climate victories at the ballot box

In the immediate aftermath of Election 2014, our national media machine is greased with stories repeating that the prospects for action on climate have shrivelled to tiny proportions. Handy narrative by the fossil fuel industry to try and perpetuate, but it’s not true.

Aggressive city action can reduce global carbon emissions at least 10% by 2030, according to a C40 report at the UN Climate Summit. Across the US, we see examples of cities that are investing in clean energy and carbon reduction solutions.

No time for the sidelines: youth take the lead in climate organizing

Do you remember the 21st of September? Generation Y and Z don’t want the credit for making history on the day of the largest climate mobilization EVER,  but they deserve a lot of it.

Climate action now: Let's keep making history!

After last month's giant climate marches, it's time to make sure the Northwest continues to lead the country towards a clean energy future. Add your voice to this call: let's keep making history!

For better growth, let's ensure a better climate

The signs are here: we can grow our economy, innovate, and reduce climate risks.

Green is the colo(u)r of growth: how the UK and Washington can lead on climate change

December’s international climate talks will require substantial leadership from the countries at the negotiating table. But climate challenges cannot be solved by negotiators alone.
